Services
Comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, medication management and supportive psychotherapy
I believe everyone can suffer less. It starts with feeling truly heard, understanding the many factors that influence mental health, and creating a thoughtful, individualized plan that helps you move forward with confidence.
Conditions I Treat
I work with adults and adolescents who are struggling with:
Depression and other mood disorders
Anxiety and panic disorders
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
PTSD & Trauma related disorders
Burnout, including caregiving, parenting, and work-related burnout
Stress related to parenting and life transitions
Insomnia and sleep challenges
Perinatal mental health, including pregnancy and postpartum medication management
If you are not sure whether what you are experiencing fits one of these categories, please reach out. Many people wonder if what they are experiencing deserves specialty care. You do not need to be in crisis to ask for more comprehensive support.
Treatment Modalities
I bring together evidence-based integrative psychiatric care combined with mindfulness and lifestyle practices that genuinely move the needle on how we feel. We will use as many of these tools as makes sense for you.
-
Thoughtful, evidence-based prescribing. If something is not working, we will try something different. I do not see medications and alternative approaches as an either/or. We will look at the specific quality of your symptoms to determine what support will help you the most.
-
While our time together will not be solely therapy-focused, you will receive limited supportive psychotherapy during each of your visits. I have learned from a variety of therapy modalities over the years and will share what I know with you. I will also refer you to specific therapy modalities I believe will support you for in-depth work outside of our appointments.
-
I value evaluating labs for optimal levels of micronutrients, not just severe deficiencies. Our goal is to determine your unique individual wellness potential. I will refer you for the labs and genetic testing that make sense for your story and use the results to fine-tune your treatment plan.
-
I am a student of Buddhism, mindfulness, and breathwork. The ancient wisdom and practices offer tremendous support for relieving suffering. I will teach you simple, beginner-friendly, practices during our sessions and recommend easy reading and apps to supplement them. These practices can truly change your brain and how you experience your thoughts. We will also explore identifying your inner critic and inner mentor so you can learn to calm one and listen to the other.
-
We will talk about the many things that make a big impact on your wellness journey, including sleep, movement, and the physical, mental, and spiritual "nutrition" you are taking in. How are you nourishing your body, your mind, and your heart? These conversations are practical and gentle. You are already holding a lot, and my goal is to find small, sustainable shifts that easily fit into your real life.
Appointment Types + Fees
I offer both in-person and telehealth appointments, with availability that includes some early morning and early evening times to accommodate your busy schedule. I also have systems in place to make it easy to communicate with me about appointments, medication refills, and general questions in between visits.
-
I offer a free 15-minute consultation to learn a little bit about each other and see if my practice is a good fit for you.
-
A comprehensive psychiatric evaluation that allows ample time for sharing the story of what brings you in, including your medical, psychiatric, family, and social history. We will discuss any needed lab work and potential collaboration with other health care providers and family members as needed.
