Perinatal Mental Health
I treat people who are managing their mental health and are also thinking about starting a family, are currently pregnant, or are postpartum.
Pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and the stress around fertility challenges are some of the most physically and emotionally complex experiences a person can move through. You are navigating enormous changes in your body, your identity, and your relationships, often while also managing a mental health condition, a medication regimen, or a previous experience that left a mark.
You deserve a provider who can understand all of that with clinical expertise and gentle compassion. I am here to support you.
Ways I Can Support You:
New onset or preexisting mental health diagnoses, including depression, anxiety, trauma-related disorders, ADHD, and OCD, during the pre-pregnancy, pregnancy and postpartum periods.
Collaborative management of your medications during pregnancy and while breastfeeding, including reviewing your current regimen and helping you make informed decisions that honor your values and your experience in your body
The transition into parenthood, including identity shifts, relationship changes, and the physical and mental load of caregiving in the postpartum period
Supportive care processing grief, pregnancy loss, perinatal trauma, & fertility-related stress and anxiety
